Installing Accel ViewTIFF

Windows computer:
  1. Download "AccelVT.exe". This is a self-extracting ZIP file.
  2. Run Windows Explorer, locate the file "AccelVT.exe" that you downloaded and double-click on it to run it. Select a folder to expand the installer files into then click "Unzip".
  3. After expanding the installer files, the installer will automatically be run, click the "Install" button to install the plug-in/Active X control for the selected browser(s).
  4. Close all browser windows and restart your browser to activate the plug-in/Active X control.
  5. You may run the installer again and click "Uninstall" to remove the plug-in/Active X control from your system and restore the original state of your system.
Macintosh computer:
  1. Download "AccelViewTIFF.zip". This should expand automatically; if not double-click it.
  2. This will expand into a folder named: "AccelViewTIFF". Double click on the installer in this folder.
  3. Quit and restart your browser to activate the plug-in.
  4. You may run the installer again and click "Uninstall" to remove the plug-in from your system and restore the original state of your system.
Safari version 3 currently does not allow plug-ins to handle images, so we cannot modify Accel ViewTIFF to work with this browser. Acordex recommends Firefox for great features and flexibility, including Accel ViewTIFF support!

What to do next

  • To try Accel ViewTIFF free, open our test images. If you would like to activate a free 15 day trial of Accel ViewTIFF you can go to the menu below any test image and select "Help". Click on "Free Trial".

  • Purchase. The trial version of Accel ViewTIFF is fully functional, but your evaluation will expire in 15 days. Purchase Accel ViewTIFF before your trial expires!
